- Mauritius investors to be taxed from Apr 2017
India and Mauritius signed a protocol for amendment of a three-decade-old double taxation avoidance agreement. During a transition period of two years, the tax will be limited to half the Indian tax rate.
- Kew report makes new tally for number of world’s plants
Scientists have estimated that there are 390,900 plants known to science.
The new tally is part of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kews report. It is its first global assessment of the world’s flora. 2,034 new plant species were discovered in 2015.
